Virtual F2F Assignments

Despite current travel restrictions due to COVID-19, volunteers are stepping up to the plate to adapt trainings and workshops into virtual Farmer-to-Farmer assignments. F2F Implementers are arranging virtual assignments via online platforms such as Zoom to engage hosts and beneficiaries.

F2F Implementers are currently seeking volunteers for virtual assignments. View several highlighted assignment openings below: 

 


Grameen Foundation's F2F COCOS Program in the Philippines:

1) E-Commerce and Marketing Specialist

CocoTech is a well developed social enterprise that produces various coconut products looking to improve their existing e-commerce platform and reach. F2F COCOS is seeking an e-commerce expert who can provide guidance, training, and recommendations on their existing online sales system to reach the global supply chain.

2) Community Development Specialist

FRIEND foundation is reforming its organization and is seeking a volunteer who can improve their community strategy and commitment to continue helping smallholder farmers. F2F COCOS is looking for someone who has experience in capacity building and grassroots organizations.

3) Risk and Mitigation Specialist

HMPC is a multipurpose Agri cooperative that provides various services to smallholder farmers. F2F COCOS is seeking a technical expert in MFI, loan repayment, and risk management to help improve its services in order to better accommodate the needs of their clients

ACDI/VOCA's F2F Program in the Republic of Georgia

1) Walnut and Almond Specialist

A local association has requested volunteer assistance to provide training on walnut and almond processing, including pre-cleaning, hulling, shelling, kernel grading, blanching and skin separating. Due to the current pandemic, this assignment will begin with remote communication with a trip to Georgia at a later date or may be paired with a local volunteer to complete as a team. The assignment will last for approximately 2 weeks in country, in addition to preparation and research previous to departure. Travel and living expenses will be provided.

 

CRS's F2F Program in Benin:

1) M&E Specialist

A small association of soybean producers and agricultural technicians is currently seeking a volunteer to set up and operationalize a monitoring and evaluation system
